SEÁN TESTER - AT A GLANCE...
Irish tenor Seán Tester is quickly establishing himself as an exciting new voice on the operatic and concert stage. A graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where he completed a Master's in Music Performance with distinction, Seán is equally at home in opera, oratorio, and song. He is the inaugural RIAM Emerging Artist Fellow and Droichead Arts Centre Artist in Association for 2026.
Recent highlights include his international operatic debut in Switzerland with Irish National Opera and Nouvel Opéra Fribourg / Neue Oper Freiburg, and his international recital debut at the Franz Liszt Old Academy of Music, Budapest.
Seán has also made major debuts with Wexford Festival Opera, National Symphony Orchestra Ireland, and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, performing at acclaimed venues including Dublin's National Concert Hall and London's Royal Festival Hall and Cadogan Hall.
He looks forward to expanding his career internationally, embracing new opportunities across Europe and further afield.
